Ye are gods
“What is man, that thou art mindful of him… Thou hast made him a little lower than Elohim.” — Psalm 8:4-5
David stood under the vast heavens and asked a profound question: What is man? Not because man is insignificant, but because God’s thoughts toward man are overwhelmingly glorious. The psalmist reveals something extraordinary — man was made “a little lower than Elohim.” Not merely lower than angels, but crowned with glory and honour by God Himself.
Christianity is the unveiling of the divine life in humanity. Man was created as the expression of God’s nature, wisdom, and authority in the earth. This is why Jesus boldly declared in John 10:34, “Ye are gods.” He was revealing the true identity of the recreated human spirit.
To understand this truth is to break free from inferiority, fear, and limitation. Many believers live only conscious of their humanity while forgetting the divinity at work within them. But the new creation is not ordinary. The life of God flows in your spirit. You were born of the Word and filled with the Holy Ghost.
When God looks at you, He does not see weakness or defeat; He sees His reflection. The believer carries the DNA of divinity. This is why you can reign in life, speak faith-filled words, and manifest the righteousness of God in your world.
“Ye are gods” is not a statement of pride; it is a revelation of origin and nature. A dog gives birth to dogs, and God gives birth to gods. The one born of God has His life and operates from His kingdom.
This understanding changes everything. You stop begging for victory and begin to walk in dominion. You stop talking weakness and start affirming what God has said about you. The consciousness of divinity produces boldness, excellence, and unshakable confidence.
Never see yourself as ordinary again. You are born of Elohim. You are the expression of His glory, the manifestation of His wisdom, and the carrier of His presence in your generation.
Walk in that consciousness today.
“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” — Psalm 82:6
